Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Wilkes-Barre Township with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Pennsylvania may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Grove Mart is a pleasant place to get food! I made these true delicacies from the help of their friendly ambassador, ZM! He was a faithful man in allowing my food consumption to grow to an all time high! The freshness of it all was splendid! The only complaint I have is the overwhelming amount of certain people in the building, it made it smell like a KFC, and made me drop the soap… Love the store and give it a 4/5!

There is a nasty smell as soon as you walk into the store, the food is always expired and the baby food and milks I do not recommend going to this store. THIS IS NOT SAFE. The meat produce is always bad i bought oxtails one time here and the meat was brown and had a super bad smell to it. As I was walking into the store I was a couple πŸ€ by the meat produce section walking around. This is unbelievable! HOW IS THIS SHOP STILL EVEN OPEN??

I’ve been here many times, but the quality keeps getting worse and worse. I didn’t go to that store for like 6 months because I had bought sour cream, and I opened it that day and it was curdled… went back recently. The food for groceries is always expired or close to expiring. The frozen products did not look safe to eat since the packages were covered in dirt and sticky with holes. I decided to buy them to see if it was edible. The FROZEN vegetables were brown and or molded. The beef I got from the deli was very brown. The beef bacon had extremely dark spots that look like it had turned bad. I don’t think they’re keeping the meats cold enough and properly stored. I wouldn’t trust buying any food items from here, because there’s no point if you’re risking food poisoning and possibly death. It’s a waste of money. The only thing worth it to buy there are nonperishables and drinks.
